Kid’s Parties!
Sometimes as parents we have a hard time finding a really great place to have our children’s birthday party. Luckily, in this area we have a ton of great spots to party. If you are new to the area or have a young child and have not been having to plan children’s parties in the past then you might have some trouble finding the proper venue. Because Odd Moe’s is a fixture in this area we have several great suggestions for where to have children’s parties that can meet anyone’s needs!
The Great Outdoors
The Salem area is fantastic as far as nature goes. There are so many great parks and recreational areas. You can reserve party areas in parks for very minimum fee! Salem is great but if you venture out to some of the more Rural areas you will find fantastic parks! In Stayton there is Pioneer park! It has fabulous covered party areas, and amazing playground, an exquisite covered bridge, a natural stream that is running through it, long trail walks if that’s something you like. It is really a beautiful park. If your child is having a summer birthday party you can consider Larwood Park in Scio, it has a gorgeous swimming hole.
In Albany Oregon, there is a huge Park called Timber Linn Park they have great covered party areas with sinks and grills, they have a great playground, they have a fishing pond, bathrooms, basketball court, so many amenities that I can’t list them all! If you are wanting to stay in Salem then we hugely recommend Minto Brown Island park, it has play areas, areas that can be reserved, off leash dog areas. This is Salem’s biggest park and it is larger that Central park! These are some great places to throw a party outside around Salem!
Indoor Options
Salem Gymnastics Center- you can plan parties right at the super fun Salem Gymnastics center. We highly recommend the place. It has several different activities for children to do including trampolines, a ball pit, bars to hang from, ropes to climb, bounce houses, an area for small children and much much more. The great thing about this venue is that you can bring your own food! We suggest pizza…
Get Air- It is another great place to have a birthday party. They have semi-private rooms that you can rent for a party. They have many many large trampoline activities including trampoline basketball, rope ladder, foam pits, and much more. They also sell some refreshments and they have some video games, they have a tornado machine, and a photo booth!
Salem Riverfront Carousel- This is a fabulous option for a party. This Carousel is an absolutely gorgeous fixture in Salem offers a beautiful and specially designed Carousel. You can rent it to throw a party. They have multiple party packages that range from $100-$200 and can have several guests. Give them a call for extra information on party rental!
G2 Fun Zone- This play place is in Albany. It is a great place to throw a party. It features several bouncy houses as well as bouncy obstacle courses, it has many arcade games, an area for smaller children, rideable stuffed animals, snacks, and more! This is a super fun place to bring your child to play!
